Curriculum
This half-term we learnt all about plants and growing on our experience day. We talked about the life cycle of a plant and planted our own beans and cress. We also looked at where seeds come from by cutting some fruit and vegetables in half, so we could see their seeds. We then created repeating patterns printing paint with vegetables. In the afternoon, we became artists and drew some flowers! Miss Beedle put some flowers on the carpet for us to look at and we talked about the features of a flower and how we can add detail to our drawings, such as the veins on leaves and the different shapes of petals.
