Curriculum
This term, Reception went on a trip to the beach at Lytham St Anne’s! The children loved the coach journey, as they saw lots of farm animals and lorries. When we were at the beach the children enjoyed playing in the sand. They build sandcastles, dug holes and buried each others legs to make mermaids. They even lay in the sand and spread their arms and legs to make sand angels. At lunch time we had a picnic on the beach and then the children enjoyed ice creams for desert. We were very fortunate with the weather and the children enjoyed playing in the sun all day.
