7 of our Year 6 pupils have done really well in the Junior Maths Challenge that they undertook in April. The challenge is a series of very complicated maths calculations and problems to solve in limited amount of time.

Our pupils are amongst the youngest in the country to take part and they achieved: 2 Gold Awards; 3 silver & 2 pupils just missed out on achieving bronze.

The 2 Gold Award winners will now take part in the Maths Kangaroo Challenge in the coming weeks.

Special thanks as well to our maths tutor, Mrs Yadav- she has worked really hard getting the children to this standard and motivating them in maths.

Here’s a photo showing the award winners with Mrs Yadav- each pupil also received a certificate & high street voucher.
