Children’s Mental Health Week 2022 & Safer Internet day 2022

Children’s Mental Health Week 2022

Morning Everyone

As you know, we place a high priority on our pupil’s mental health and wellbeing as without this, it makes it hard for them to form friendships and progress emotionally and academically.
On a daily basis, our staff speak to and nurture your children and our Zones of Regulation (feelings and strategies) system in each class, also supports their emotional development.

We always take part in Children’s Mental Health week too and this year, it is taking place next week.
This year’s theme is Growing Together. It is about encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown, and how they can help others to grow- so this will fit perfectly with the work we do day in day out.

During the week, your child will be taking part in a number of discussions and activities and I will also post things for parent/carers to support their children too.

Next week, we are also taking part in National Safer Internet day- providing our children with more support about how to keep safe online and keeping us at the top of the national E-Cadet league- number 1 in the UK!

Have a good weekend, Mrs Parker
