School re-opening 8th March

Info on school Opening 8th March 2021

Monday 1st March 2021

Dear Parent/Carers,

Please read the following important information to ensure that your child and staff can return to school safely on Monday 8th March.  To make it work so it is safe for everyone, we need your co-operation to follow the plan set out below.

-PLEASE FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN ON THE SCHOOL GROUNDS.

-PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE PUTTING THIS IN PLACE TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.  RUDE OR AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS STAFF WHO ARE DOING THEIR JOB TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND PARENT/CARERS WILL BE TOLD TO LEAVE.

If your child or anyone in the household has tested positive for or shows signs of the most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19),

  • a new continuous cough
  • a high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell

they must NOT come to school and stay at home.  Other members of their household (including any siblings) should self-isolate for 10 days from when the symptomatic person first had symptoms.

If anyone in the school becomes unwell with the above symptoms, we will isolate them until they are collected to go home.  They will be advised to follow the stay at home guidance for anyone with symptoms, which sets out that they must self-isolate for at least 10 days and should arrange to have a test to see if they have coronavirus (COVID-19). Other members of their household (including any siblings) should self-isolate for 10 days from when the symptomatic person first had symptoms.

Please see the letters below about arrangements for each class on return to school:
