This website is run by St Clement’s Church of England Primary School, Manchester.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and font sizes

  • view most of the content on mobile, tablet and desktop

  • navigate most of the site using just a keyboard

  • listen to most of the content using a screen reader

We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this website is

We aim for this website to be fully accessible and compliant with accessibility requirements for public sector bodies in the UK. However, we are aware that some parts of this site are not fully accessible:

How we tested this website

This website was last tested on 12th January 2026. The test was carried out by Clarity Creation.

Measures to improve accessibility

We are continually improving the accessibility of this website. Actions we have taken or are planning include:

Website Styles

Our website has been designed to be bright, fun and easy to use but if you would prefer there are different styles you can view it through:

Dyslexia Friendly View
This view uses colours and styles in the main content box that are dyslexia friendly.

Images and Alt Tags
Whenever images have been used within the design of the site “Alt” tags have been used.  This will show describe what the image is, in case an image does not load, image options are switched off in your browser or you are using a screen reader.

Re-sizable Text
We have used a text size that we feel is easy to use, but if you would like to increase or decrease it there is the option to do this using the text size icons.

Browser Compatibility
This site has been tested with the following browsers for compatibility.

Safari 2.0.3

Later versions of these browsers should continue to be compatible.

Coding Standards
We have ensured our site conforms to W3C xhtml and css standards. This should make our site accessible across browsers which adhere to the same standards, and should make our pages more accessible to those using screen readers and similar devices.
